Review Week 9

Compare and contrast vector graphics and pixel images.
Vector graphics can be created by using mathematical equations. They can be easily scaled to maintain a good quality. Vector graphics are created using Adobe Illustrator. Pixel images are created using Photoshop. These images are made up of tiny boxes called pixels. These images need a certain resolution to display properly and clearly.

What resolution is necessary to print raster images?
300 DPI

What resolution is necessary to display raster images on the internet?
72 DPI
